WRYM's Rough Night out 2024

​​​Bundle up!  Stay safe and warm!
Whether you join us at WRYM or participate at a location of your choice, you will be able to take breaks to warm up when you feel it's necessary and use what you need to keep yourself as warm as possible.  We will supply free handwarmers to those of you who participate at WRYM.


How can I participate?
There are two different ways - Individually or as a member of a team.

Too cold outside for your health to participate, no problem!  Why not spend the night indoors and have a wake-a-thon on your own or with members of your household.

It's Family Day weekend, so why not make it a family affair!!  Gather family members, coworkers, and friends together to form your team.  The more people you have, the more money you will raise and the faster  the time will go by.

B)  A location of your choice.

How can I register?
Simply use the buttons below to register.  If you are registering online, we will still need you to complete and sign the Registration Form and Participation Waiver below and email them to Sue at [email protected].  Both forms must be received by WRYM before your participation in WRYM's Rough Night Out 2024.

PARTICIPATION WAIVER

The pledge sheet is for your use.  When the event is over, please return the pledge sheet with the money you raised to the Windsor Residence for Young Men, 1505 Langlois Avenue, Windsor, ON, N8X 4M3.  A tax receipt will be issued for pledges of $20 or more, so please ensure  you include the person's full name, address, and email address on the sheet next to their pledge.

Let's get creative to raise funds!
Why don't you create a fundraising page for you or your team.  Use your imagination, the sky's the limit!  Your fundraising page can be used to tell your story, set a personal fundraising goal, list your participants, track your progress, and receive online donations by sending a link to your fundraising page to family and friends.

It's not an easy challenge!
WRYM recognizes this is not an easy challenge, so we would like to reward those of you who go the extra mile with the one of the following prizes:

• If you raise $500, you will receive a WRYM toque.
• If you raise $1,000, you will receive a WRYM sweatshirt.

AND the individual who raises the most funds during WRYM's Rough Night Out 2024 will receive a gift basket full of warm goodies.

​The prizes will be rewarded at the end of the event once all funds are received and verified.  If you are a lucky winner, you will be notified by your preferred contact information.  At that time, if you won the sweatshirt, you will be asked for your size before the order is placed.  Once the order is received, you will be contacted to arrange a mutually convenient time to pick up or drop off your prize.

Activities are planned at WRYM!
​Join us for a barbeque at midnight!  We are offering this activity to all the brave souls that will be at WRYM.  A choice of a hamburger or hotdog with a coffee or hot chocolate will be offered.  Please indicate on your Registration Form if you plan to participate in this activity so we are prepared with the proper amount of food.  We will also have games and activities to help keep you warm and make the time go by faster.
