From Our Family to Yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we're reminded of the power of gratitude, togetherness, and the simple comfort of sharing a meal with people who care.  At The Windsor Residence for Young Men, that spirit of family is felt in a very real way, around our own dining table, where young men who once faced homelessness now sit together, enjoy a warm meal, and know they belong.

This Thanksgiving, our residence will be filled  with the smells of a home-cooked dinner, the sounds of laughter, and the feeling of safety that many of our youth have gone too long without.  For some, it will be their first holiday spent in a place where they feel welcome. A place where they're learning not just life skills, but the meaning of community.

As we reflect on what we're thankful for this year, our thoughts turn to you, the supporters, volunteers, and friends who make this work possible.  Because of your kindness, there will be a table set, lights on, and a sense of hope in the air for every youth who calls WRYM home this Thanksgiving.

From all of us - staff, residents, and alumni - we wish you and your family a safe, happy, and heartfelt Thanksgiving.

WRYM Wins Top Prize from Inspiration 100!

In case you missed it, The Windsor Residence for Young Men was honoured with the top prize at this year's Inspiration 100 awards!

Every year, the Inspiration 100 Community Fund recognizes local organizations making a lasting difference in Windsor-Essex.  We're proud to share that WRYM received the first-place award of $25,000, a powerful investment in our mission to help youth experiencing homelessness build confidence, independence, and brighter futures.

This recognition means so much to our team, our residents, and everyone who believes in what we do.  It's a celebration not just of our work, but of the entire community that stands with us, people like you who continue to show that Windsor-Essex is stronger when we lift each other up.
